Research

She has been with IERM - agricultural marketing and rural development for nine years. She has worked on rural development in less favoured areas. Previous research on diversification opportunities for farm families includes the socio-economic evaluation of speciality fibre and meat products. She currently co-ordinator of the European Beef and Lamb Marketing Project, which is looking in depth at market and consumer issues for red meat and meat products and the role of quality assurance in product promotion.
